Long weekend

We had a four day weekend with the girl out of school and Eric thought it would be a great idea to get out of town for the weekend, (well he really planned it all while I was under the influence of the Flu and Step throat) so I later really found out about it. Well we headed to the mountains to a 4 br 4 bath cabin. The drive up was ok, we got in at dark and got unpacked and was ready to relax.... ok well relax wasn't in the cabin, 2 1/2 year old twins and steep stairs leading down to where their big sisters rooms are is no fun. They had them stairs mastered in no time and only took me the whole trip to stop worrying about someone breaking a bone falling down them. On top of that it seemed like everyone is sick with bad colds.
Our first morning there the kids all thought we suppose to jump up and head out first thing for the day....NOT!!! On top of me really wanting some down time I don't sleep well at all so I was out of it. Well after lunchtime we did head out and did a little stuff, just to help them not go crazy from being in the cabin all day. The next morning we all knew that that was the day we hit the outlets to do our shopping.... they just didn't know I was still taking my time so heard a lot of fussing but by the time we headed out they all seem to be happy with hitting the Disney store to pick up 2 Micky's for the twins and Tinker Bell for Chloe then came the clothes stores!!!! Yes I had happy girls then. I always feel bad Eric always goes and seems to want to go, but always seems to just not be happy, is he just being a good husband or is it to control me with the spending????? He did go buy my V-Day gifts like last year up there, it doesn't bother me not being on the day of. Well the next morning we packed up and headed out with making a few more stops to do a few quick shopping trips in and out. The ride home was good, unpacked and headed out to dinner. Now it's been a busy but beautiful day with temps in the 70's. I think the rest of the week and weekend will still be a busy one, but it's MY LOVE MY LIFE.

The First

Well I keep reading so many blogs these days and see how much you can go back and see about your life and the lil and big stuff, the everyday things that your kids do daily that you wish you could remember when that happen. I have to admit having 6 drama filled daughters can be hard to keep up with so I think this way I can share the special, crazy, funny, sad, and just drama filled stuff our family goes through that I know I can always have and maybe somehow our crazy little lives can help others in someway or just help me be a better wife, mother and Christ follower. This is the start of me sharing MY LOVE MY LIFE with you.
